The TOPSwitch-HX family (including models TOP252–TOP262) is an integrated offline switcher designed for high efficiency and design flexibility in power supply applications. It incorporates advanced features to reduce system cost and enhance performance compared to previous generations. 

Technology: Integrated offline switcher with enhanced EcoSmart™ technology for energy efficiency across the entire load range.

  Protection: Includes auto-restart for short-circuit and open-loop fault conditions, as well as accurate hysteretic thermal shutdown with automatic recovery.

  Power Capability: Offers extended power ranges; models do not require a heat sink up to 35 W (with universal input) or up to 48 W at 230 VAC (using P, G, and M packages).

  Frequency: Features a 132 kHz switching frequency to reduce transformer and power supply size, with a half-frequency option available for video applications.

  Operating Voltage: Supports universal input voltage ranges.
