Product Overview
The TLP250H(F) is an isolated, high-speed gate driver photocoupler (optocoupler) consisting of a GaAℓAs infrared light-emitting diode (LED) optically coupled to an integrated high-gain, high-speed photodetector IC.
Unlike the previously listed standalone power MOSFETs, this device serves as the isolated bridge between low-power control logic (like a microcontroller or PWM IC) and the high-power gates of power MOSFETs or IGBTs. It features an integrated totem-pole (push-pull) output stage capable of directly sinking and sourcing high peak currents, an internal Faraday shield providing exceptional common-mode transient immunity (CMTI), and a high operating temperature rating ideal for industrial environments.
It is widely implemented in industrial inverters, solar power systems, motor drive controls, and switch-mode power supplies (SMPS).
