Product Overview

The LM567 and LM567C are general-purpose tone decoders. They are engineered to provide a saturated transistor switch to ground whenever an input signal falls within their specified passband. The architecture includes an in-phase (I) and quadrature (Q) detector driven by a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), which determines the center frequency of the decoder. Designers can use external components to independently configure the center frequency, bandwidth, and output delay.
