Product Overview

The Maxim ICL7106 and ICL7107 are high-performance, low-power, monolithic 3½-digit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). They contain all the necessary active on-board circuitry—including segment decoders, display drivers, a voltage reference, and a clock—to eliminate the need for external display drive components. The ICL7106 is designed to directly interface with non-multiplexed liquid crystal displays (LCDs), whereas the ICL7107 is optimized to directly drive common-anode light-emitting diode (LED) displays.
