A surface-mount, high-precision single-phase energy metering integrated circuit designed for smart power management and household electrical appliance monitoring applications. Fabricated using an optimized complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) process, it integrates two high-performance analog-to-digital converters, power calculation logic engines, and dual-frequency pulse output networks on a single monolithic chip. It requires very few peripheral components to accurately calculate active power, current root-mean-square (RMS) values, and voltage RMS values over wide dynamic ranges.
