A surface-mount, 4-pin small outline phototransistor photocoupler integrated circuit designed for compact, reliable signal isolation and transmission. Fabricated using an infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a phototransistor detector and encapsulated in a specialized green compound, it isolates different circuit potentials and impedances while maintaining a very low profile.
