The CA3140 and CA3140A are BIMOS operational amplifiers that integrate high-voltage PMOS transistors with bipolar output stages on a single chip. Featuring a MOSFET input stage, these op-amps provide extremely high input impedance and very low input current for precision applications. They are internally phase-compensated for stable operation in unity gain and can operate with either single or dual supplies ranging from 4V to 36V. The output stage includes built-in protection against short circuits to ground or supply rails, making them robust for diverse circuit designs.
