The L6565 is a current-mode primary controller IC specifically designed to build off-line Quasi-resonant (QR) Zero-Voltage-Switching (ZVS) flyback converters. Quasi-resonant operation is achieved by sensing transformer demagnetization to trigger the MOSFET's turn-on.
